Development of Corrosion Diagnosis Method Using Sensor Probe Involving Copper Reference Electrode

چکیده
A sensor probe involving a copper reference electrode was developed for corrosion diagnosis(CCD)in fresh water. Electrochemical measurements are often employed CCD in three-electrode system. In such cases, commercial glass electrodes used electrochemical measurements. Because the repeated use of water with different compositions degrades electrode, maintenance-free is necessary fieldwork CCD. this study, tube selected as Our newly comprises three tubes working counter and electrode. Each 1.6-mm-diameter covered polyvinyl chloride insulator arranged parallel others, 1.6 mm spacing. these can be cut off easily after measurements, each measurement. Potentiostatic polarization galvanostatic were conducted using probe. Then obtained values(current potential)and pH test solution applied to three-dimensional diagram, designated map 3D, Results confirmed that diagnosis 3D categorized having no corrosion, pitting or general dissolution.
